Asheville, NC Mayday

This week starts our Safety & Survival month. The entire month of November will be dedicated to firefighter survival and rapid intervention. Don't stop with the sceduled training; there are many great training resources on the web. Study LODD and near-miss reports and learn from them. Let no firefighter's death be in vain.

Quote of the Week

"Your training should periodically show you your physical and mental limits, because reality will, at some point, try to lure you past them". — Firefighter Dan Snyder, AFPD
