Region 5 Course Update

This is a brief update on some of the upcoming catalog courses in Region 5:

·     2153-13-501, I-300, scheduled to start 7/30 at Hilton Head Island Fire/Rescue has been cancelled
·         2171-13-502, Leadership I, scheduled to start 8/4 at Sheldon Fire Dept will go---this class is free through grant funding
·         1250-13-501, Aerial Ops, scheduled to start 8/6 at North Charleston Fire Dept will go—this class is full
·         1152-13-501, Fund of FF, scheduled to start 8/7 at Jasper Co Fire Dept will go
·         3310-13-504, Rope Rescue, scheduled to start 8/10 at Hilton Head Island Fire/Rescue will go
·         2144-13-501, IC: High Rise, scheduled to start 8/11 at City of Charleston Fire Dept will go---this class is now free through grant funding

The following classes are in danger of cancelling (low enrollment):

·         2150-13-502, ISO, scheduled to start 8/4 at Ashley River Fire Dept (need 5 more students)
·         8118-13-501, PPV, scheduled to start 8/4 at Berkley Co ESTC (need 4 more students)
·         2147-13-501, NIMS ICS, scheduled to start 8/8 at Summerville Fire Dept (need 4 more students)
·         1153-13-501, FFI, scheduled to start 8/13 at Summerville Fire Dept (need 2 more students)
·         2151-13-501, HSO, scheduled to start 8/16 at the Region 5 Office (need 2 more students)
·         1177-13-502, Utilities, scheduled to start 8/18 at Beaufort Fire Dept (need 2 more students)
